Young Farmers’ Club
​
The Young Farmers’ Club was introduced earlier on with the slogan “Catch them Young” and it is aimed at attracting the youth in all Secondary Schools across the state to develop interest in agriculture. The aims and objectives of Young Farmers’ Club as a voluntary organization include, training students on how to manage farms, acquainting students with different techniques of farming,to make information available on agricultural breakthrough, to improve students’ knowledge,to prepare members to be self-employed, thus reducing over dependence on government Jobs. It also helps to develop their creativity, provide an avenue for socialization as well as explore gifts and talents.
LITERARY/ DEBATING CLUB

This club is aimed at bringing to bare the oratory strength in the pupils and students. It builds confidence in them to face the crowd and make correct speeches. The club also assists in the development of their writing skills as well as open minds to appreciate the literacy work of art. To achieve this aim, the club organises inter-class and inter-school debate and essay competitions. Pupils from this club have been representing the school in competitions. The results from such outings have been so great.


JETS CLUB
The JETS club became practically ubiquitous across secondary schools in Nigeria. Every brainy kid aspired to be one of the geniuses that would get called to represent their schools in the prestigious National competitions.

We go deep into Science by proving facts laid out by known Scientists. We also carry out Scientific Steps such as Introduction, Theory, Observation, Hypothesis, and Conclusion, thereby incorporating the needed scientific skills used in building our students to be successful Scientists.
PRESS CLUB
​
As prevalent with most standard colleges, CSSS Boys Shagari, has an outstanding press club made up of both the junior and senior secondary students. These students act as correspondents. They gather, write, edit, and broadcast weekly (during morning assemblies) and on every school occasion most certainly, under the continuous and strict supervision from the club leader, the tutor in charge, who does the final editing before the news is cast, or any material is made public and available to the readers. Such news, in most cases consists of events that have happened in the school, the current ones, and those still on the pipeline. Acting as the voice of the people, the Press Club, comments, criticizes, and equally reasonable suggestion raised.

Computer Club

The Computer Club is one of the most active clubs; the club comprises a team of passionate and organized students who are interested in learning about the advanced technology of the 21st century.
The objectives of the Computer Club are to widen the perspectives of students in Technology and allow them to get hands-on experiences with media. Members get to expand their horizons by learning different multimedia skills using existing software,
